Abstract

Fiber optic channels utilizing Spatial Domain Multiplexing /Space Division Multiplexing (SDM) are typically analyzed using Laguerre Gaussian (LG) modes. Theoretical and experimental results for SDM channels in optical fiber are presented and compared.
