Mid-infrared Plasmons in Graphene Nanostructures

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We demonstrate mid-infrared (4–15 μm) plasmons in graphene nanostructures with dimensions as small as 50 nm. We reveal damping channels via graphene intrinsic optical phonons, scattering from the edges, and coupling to the substrate.
