Scintillation of Nonuniformly Correlated Beams in Atmospheric Turbulence

Abstract

We have demonstrated that nonuniformly correlated partially coherent beams possess both low scintillation and high average transferred intensity on propagation in atmospheric turbulence, as compared to coherent Gaussian beams.
