Polarimetry in ex vivo retina from donors with Alzheimer’s disease

Abstract

We quantify the polarization properties of unstained amyloid β deposits with Mueller matrix polarimetry. These studies of amyloid β in the retina are important to understanding Alzheimer’s disease and to its early detection.
