Dual photonic crystal fiber broadly tunable femtosecond mid-infrared source

Abstract

We report a novel scheme for generation of broadly tunable mid-IR femtosecond pulses based on dual photonic crystal fibers. We achieve up to 640 µW average power at 40 MHz from 4.2 – 9 µm wavelength.
