Four-Photon Transverse Mode Entanglement

Abstract

We show experimental evidence of quantum entanglement of 4 photons in their spatial degrees of freedom. A large fraction of the photons produced by single-pass spontaneous parametric downconversion are in the 4-particle, 3-dimensional Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state.
