The Polarization Ray Tracing Calculus

Abstract

The polarization ray tracing calculus facilitates the analysis of polarization dependent point spread functions and optical transfer functions, and can integrate many different polarization models including thin films, anisotropic materials, anisotropic multilayers, diffractive optics, and liquid crystals.
