Storage of Single-photon level Polarization States in a Vapor Cell at Room-Temperature

Abstract

We present a high fidelity, room-temperature memory for single-photon level polarization states. An electromagnetically-induced transparency (EIT) based dual-rail memory with filtering using etalons is used in this implementation.
