Multiplexing Soliton-Combs in Optical Microresonators

Abstract

Stable solitons are simultaneously created in up to three distinct mode families of a single crystalline MgF2 microresonator. The resulting Kerr combs have distinct repetition rates, are mutually coherent allowing dual- or future triple-comb applications.
