Abstract

We demonstrate bandwidth-scaling of frequency combs in silicon charge-injection modulators by linking two 10GHz combs (8 lines) through heterodyne optical frequency-locking within 6.6MHz resulting in a broadened comb of 13 lines in a 30dB band.
