Super-Absorbing Metamaterials Using Epsilon-Near-Zero Plasma Resonance

Abstract

Metamaterials of epsilon-near-zero (ENZ) and dielectric layer structures are investigated for wideband light absorption in the wavelength range from 1 to 2 micron. Increasing the number of ENZ-dielectric layers results in wider absorption band.
