Synthesis and Analysis of Ultrafast Waveform Generation using Coherent Raman Sidebands

Abstract

We combine four coherent Raman sidebands generated inside diamond with an OPA-generated beam to create an ultrashort pulse. By using frequency-resolved optical gating (FROG) and interferometric techniques, we characterize the resultant pulse.
