Optical 3D μ-Printing of Polymer Whispering-Gallery-Mode Microcavity Lasers

Abstract

A new optical printing technology for the fabrication of polymer whispering-gallery-mode (WGM) microcavity lasers is presented. Polymer mushroom-like optical microresonators capped with a layer of dye-based gain film were demonstrated for WGM laser applications.
