Brillouin Comb Generation in a Highly Nonlinear Tellurite Single Mode Fiber

Abstract

Brillouin comb generation in a ring cavity composed of a piece of tellurite single mode fiber was demonstrated. Cascaded stimulated Brillouin Stokes and anti-Stokes lines resulted in multi-wavelength Brillouin comb generation bi-directionally.
