Single-layer Planar Metasurface Lens with >170° Field of View

Abstract

We demonstrated the first single-layer metasurface lens on a flat substrate capable of performing diffraction-limited focusing over >170° field of view (FOV). Wide-angle diffraction-limited imaging was also experimentally validated.
