On the Origin of a Low Intensity Microwave Irradiation Effect on Tobacco Mosaic Virus Activity

Abstract

Up to 50% deactivation of tobacco mosaic virus by a low intensity 9&12 GHz microwave irradiation with the net effect enhanced at 9 GHz are observed experimentally and interpreted theoretically in frames of classical electrodynamics.
