Abstract

We experimentally investigate a graphene-covered silicon-based hybrid plasmonic waveguide, which is based on a metal-insulator-silicon-insulator-metal waveguide, as an intensity modulator. The modulation depth of the waveguide is 0.276 dB/ μm.
