Corrective Machining of Freeform Surfaces Using an Ultra-Precision Machining Center

Abstract

The introduced ultra-precision machining center combines diamond machining and metrology with data handling capabilities to allow for the corrective machining of freeform surfaces to better than ±0.1 μm.
