Form Metrology of Toric Surfaces using Scanning Fizeau Interferometry

Abstract

A new solution for toric asphere metrology relies on precision staging in a spherical Fizeau interferometer. An advanced stitching algorithm reconstructs the entire aspheric surface from interference patterns captured at a sequence of laterally-shifted positions.
