Optical trapping of particles combined with confocal Raman spectroscopy in an optofluidic chip

Abstract

We present the design and fabrication of an optofluidic chip combining optical trapping with confocal Raman spectroscopy. Next, we demonstrate the functionality of the chip and trap polystyrene beads with diameters from 6 to 15µm.
