New Radio-Frequency Photonic Filter based on photonic-phononic emitter-receivers

Abstract

A new on-chip RF photonic filter based on the photon-phonon interaction is demonstrated. The measured RF filtering responses show the unprecedented combination of high power handling, wavelength insensitivity, and second-order filtering performances.
