Laser Integration Technologies for Silicon Photonics

Abstract

Heteroepitaxy of III-V materials on silicon for laser integration is reported. State-of-the-art templates and indium arsenide quantum dots are realized by metalorganic chemical vapor deposition, demonstrating potential for large-scale integration.
