Two-Colour Terahertz Generation From a Quasi-2D System

Abstract

We demonstrate the generation and control of Terahertz radiation from two-colour excitation of a semiconductor interface. Such a purely optical process is enabled by the tight confinement of the interacting fields in a quasi-2D region.
