Concentration Effects in Kinetics of Middle-IR Transitions of Dy3+ Ions Doped in Silver Halide Crystals

Abstract

Kinetics of mid-IR luminescence is investigated in AgBr0.5Cl0.5:Dy3+ crystals with different level of doping. Clustering of Dy3+ ions is proposed, and it has an opposite effect on perspective lasing transitions in mid-IR.
