Abstract

Saturation threshold of a delayed ultrafast probe field in an electronic-resonance-enhanced CARS (ERE-CARS) configuration is calculated for arbitrary pulse duration. Pulse area of the probe can be used to determine the saturation-threshold criterion for ERE-CARS.
