Abstract

Single molecule localization microscopy allows imaging structures well below the diffraction limit. One method for improving the accuracy of single molecule localization is to collect more photons per molecule. Here, we report a dual objective system for efficient collection of emitted photons using two separate collection paths. The flexibility of our microscope design allows for easy modification of the system and is compatible with a variety of different objective lenses which can we used in symmetric or asymmetric dual configurations.
