Abstract

Optical and magnetic characterization of NPs colloids synthesized by Ultrashort Pulsed Laser Ablation (UPLA) of a solid Fe o Ni target immersed in water are studied. Absorption spectra in the UV-region are measured; shape, size distribution and superparamagnetic state of the nanoparticles are proved.
