Determination of the complex refractive index, optical bandgap and Urbach energy of CH3NH3PbI3 and FA1−yCsyPb(I1−xBrx)3 perovskite thin films

Abstract

The complex refractive indices of CH3NH3PbI3 and FA1−yCsyPb(I1−xBrx)3 perovskite thin films are reported. These are determined point-by-point using a combination of ellipsometry and transmittance. Bandgaps and Urbach energies are calculated using a band fluctuations model.
