Abstract

Laser ablation technique is used for the nanoparticles (NPs) production in liquid media, we studied the effect of the wavelength laser in the nanoparticles quality for antibacterial applications. We analyzed the antibacterial effect in colonies of Escherichia Coli and Staphylococcus Aureus. We found that using NPs grown with Nd: YAG laser at 1064 nm have better behavior than the nanoparticles grown at 532 nm for the killing the bacteria when it was illuminated with UV radiation.
