Abstract

Geometric constellation shaping based on rings rely on clustering demodulation were evaluated experimentally in Radio-over-Fiber scenario under phase noise issues. We achieve an improvement in OSNR of 2.9 dB using FCM Gustafson-Kessel based-demodulation for 16-QAM.
