Acousto-Optic Filter with Ultra-Narrow Bandwidth

Abstract

Significant increase in spectral resolution of acoustooptic filter due to spatial variation of refractive index of medium is shown. Influence of light absorption and random variation of dielectric constant on the filter spectrum is investigated.
