Quantum Frequency Conversion of Ba+ Photons

Abstract

Hybrid quantum networks consisting of disparate memories require identical photons for entanglement distribution. Using frequency conversion of either single photons from Ba+ or resonant laser light, we generate 780 nm and 1260 nm light respectively.
