Design and Modeling of a Chalcogenide Taper Fiber for High Average Power Supercontinuum Generation

Abstract

Chalcogenide taper-fiber structure is reported for high-power broadband supercontinuum spectrum covering from 1.5–14 μm. The taper fiber was pumped with femtosecond laser pulse of an average power of 200 mW at 3.5 μm.
