Characterizing Photon Statistics in an Unbalanced Beam Splitter

Abstract

A theoretical framework has been developed and examined experimentally for photon statistics in an unbalanced beam splitter. We show that it is possible to determine the photon statistics of a lights source without coincidence counting.
