Experimental investigation of nonlinear dynamics and bifurcation in a quantum-dot laser with optical feedback

Abstract

We investigate the temporal dynamics of a quantum dot laser with optical feedback by changing the injection current and the optical feedback strength. Chaotic oscillations and low frequency fluctuations are observed for a wide region of the two-dimensional bifurcation diagram.
