Speckle Reduction Technique Using an Echelon for Holographic Display

Abstract

In this paper, we present a speckle reduction technique for holographic display. The proposed technique is confirmed by mathematical models and experiments. Experimental results show that the technique reduces the speckle contrast by about 55%.
