Pulse Parameter for Characterization of Transform-Limited Properties

Abstract

Pulse parameter P2 based on second-order momentums of time and frequency is proposed. It is similar to beam quality M2. P2 conserves with propagation described by parabolic equation and with adding quadratic phase to profile.
