Phase Spectroscopy of Atmospheric Gases across a 2-km Open-Air Path by Dual-Comb Spectroscopy

Abstract

Phase spectroscopy of CO2, CH4 and H2O is demonstrated across a 2-km long atmospheric path and a 7 THz bandwidth. Turbulence-induced phase noise is mitigated to milliradian levels through aggressive linear phase correction.
