Abstract

The theoretical scheme on all-in-focus imaging modeling of focal sweep was proposed. The optical-transfer-function (OTF) with approximate 3D spatial-invariance can be achieved via the ambiguity function of focal sweep. The extended-depth-of-field (EDOF) performance was analyzed.
