Abstract

Image reconstruction under multiple scattering of light is often formulated as a nonconvex optimization problem. We describe a new optimization method for image reconstruction under multiple scattering based on a new convergent variant of the popular fast iterative shrinkage/thresholding algorithm (FISTA). The proposed method is suitable for sparsity-driven diffraction tomography where multiple scattering cannot be neglected.
