Long Wavelength External Cavity Quantum Cascade Laser for Spectroscopic Application

Abstract

We present a long wavelength external cavity quantum cascade laser. The fabrication of the external cavity laser is described including anti-reflection coating design, simulations, and results. Spectroscopic feasibility is proven by measurement of ammonia absorption.
