Cr:ZnSe hybrid laser system for CEP-stable pulses

Abstract

A hybrid laser scheme in which parametrically generated, carrier to envelope phase stable, mid-IR pulses with picojoule energies are amplified by three orders of magnitude in a Cr:ZnSe laser amplifier is presented.
