Maximum Information Gain Measurements for Single Molecule Discrimination.

Abstract

The Kullback-Leible (KL) divergence measure between apriori and expected posteriori probability distribution was utilized in single molecule discrimination simulation to find optimal excitation wavelength. Significant improvement in discrimination efficiency is demonstrated.
