Colloidal Quantum-Dot Spasers and Plasmonic Amplifiers

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We present a class of quantum-dot-based spasers for controlled generation, extraction, and manipulation of plasmons. The resulting spasers are deployable at different wavelengths, size scales, and geometries for fundamental studies and applications.
