Organic Light Actuators for Non-Genetic Optical Stimulation

Abstract

Although optogenetics is a spectacular tool to induce light sensitivity to living organism, its invasiveness limits real applications. Here, I describe alternative approaches aimed at NON-genetically inducing light sensitivity in cells/organism by using light-responsive materials.
