Mode-Independent Phase-Sensitive Frequency Conversion in a Few-Mode Elliptical-Core Fiber

Abstract

We propose an elliptical-core graded-index dispersion-shifted few-mode fiber that allows simultaneous intramodal phase-sensitive frequency conversion. The fiber breaks the degeneracy between the LP11a and LP11b modes and prevents intermodal processes.
