1,024×1,024 Optical Circuit Switch Using Wavelength-Tunable and Bandwidth-Variable Silicon Photonic Filter

Abstract

We fabricate a fast wavelength-tunable and bandwidth-variable optical filter using silicon-photonics technologies. Part of a 1024x1024 switch is constructed and adaptive support of 10-Gbps, 28-Gbps and 56-Gbps signals is experimentally demonstrated.
