Optical fiber transmission for QPSK, 16QAM, and Frequency-modulated IF signals

Abstract

In microwave radio links, intermediate frequency (IF) signals are used as a signal for intrastation and interequipment connections. As usual, several modulated IF signals are used as shown in Table I, and so the IF signal optical transmission using a laser diode and an LED has been enabled.
