Abstract
Injection locking is one of the few approaches available for simultaneously controlling the far field emission and spectral characteristics of high power laser diode arrays1–4. Previous investigators have obtained narrow far field emission lobes with nearly single mode, narrow line operation. Steering of the far field emission angle is possible by varying the injection frequency or array bias2–4.
