Abstract

Fiber ribbon structure based on UV materials offers great advantages In making not only an economical cable manufacturing process but is a practical splicing possibility for high-count fiber cables.1 Protection of these fiber ribbons has been studied with preference for the slotted core design. It would be the most practical cable design of a wide range of applications where a different number of fibers is required.
